Why I started
The drift question finally had an answer with a shape: an architecture for keeping knowledge from drifting, giving decisions a traceable lineage.

Lineage is more contextual than a log or record, because the history has contextual and temporal awareness.
If I was going to use AI to automate some of my workflow as a federal grant consultant, then I needed a way to reasonably ensure the output would be accurate and truthfully report unknowns — there were no products on the market that met that need.

It helped refine my scoping reflexes, moving from deep layer mechanism up to bird’s eye view and back, iteratively.
